Barack Obama and Tuvok

I thought I was on to something when I realized last night that Barack reminded me of Tuvok (of Star Trek Voyager fame).
But of course the blogosphere already knew this. Here it is on RaptureAlert, Yahoo answers (answer: yes), and Hotel California.
Brownie points to Hotel California for pointing out that there’s an eerie similarity between John Edwards and John Ritter, and also between Fred Thompson and Fred Thompson.

Every time I would see Barack I’d think he reminded me of someone but I couldn’t quite place it until one night it just hit me!

I had the same vision independently… and got here by searching google for obama tuvok…
His idiosyncrasies are so similar to that of Tuvok’s, logical, precise and very intelligent, but are those qualities enough?
It’s only a matter of time before the concept appears on the mainstream news and that’ll be it… “Tuvok for President” - probably improve his chances!

I realize this is a pretty old thread, but this occured to me when I listened to him read “audacity of hope” (his book). Not only does he look exactly like Tuvok, but in conversation he has the dispassionate tone down solid. I’m not suggesting he actualy IS Tuvok, but he’s definitely a Vulcan. I don’t know why he didn’t simply nerve pinch Hillary in that South Carolina debate!
