Now I’m regretting that it’s nonfunctional.

Darn it. What’s the solution?

Scamitor on Mar 29, 2008 at 2:42 pm
Scamitor

The solution is to reprogram a terminator and send it back in time to defeat the machines’ attempts to prevent the resistance leader from being born.

Alternatively, we can elect a terminator as governor.

This doesn’t have a solution, seeing as it is a formula

That’s not true, Scamitor’s solution works.

42, obviously

This guy, John, is now my hero.
Because, obviously, he has read/seen the movie ‘The Ultimate Hitchiker’s Guide To the Galaxy’.

Kudos, sir, kudos…

No, it can’t be 42. If it was, then both the question and the answer would be known in the same universe, causing it to be destroyed and replaced by an ever stranger and unpredictable universe. Unless of course this has already happened. Or if that theory was simply put forth by Zaphod Beeblebrox.

On a totally unrelated note, I just lost the game.

that’s perfectly normal paranoia. Everyone in the universe gets that.

Watch the BBC series, it’s awesome.

Radio series is better.
Me myself, I’ve read the books, watched the movie, seen the TV series, listened to the radio series, read the original scripts for the radio series (including all the deleted scenes), and played the text-based adventure game. But of all those, I would have to say the radio series is the best, although it is rather short. Besides, the Haggunenons of Vicissitus Three were the best alien in the whole franchise, but it was dropped when the radio series turned into the book.

i bet u use a macintosh

Alright, y’all have inspired me to write something about Douglas Adams. (I was always a fan of Dirk Gently’s detective agency. Remember that scene where he’s walking down the street and Zeus keeps turning off the street lights?)

you can simplify the equation but due to the types of variables they’re using, there’s no way to solve it. Even with simplifying, typing that in that box with the correct symbols would be a bitch..
