Fear Wins Again, But Not For Long - Hillary’s PA Delay

Never fear, Clinton supporters!

Fear has won the day in Pennsylvania!

Yes, according to the polls on dailykos, fear-prone Keystone staters crept to the polls in record numbers, gaining Hillary her critical win over Obama.  Those who are most ruled by fear - the poor and the elderly - were her staunchest supporters:

Seniors
PA: 61C, 38O

$50,000
PA: 55C, 45O

And it just so happens that PA is not just “Hillrod’s” birthplace, it’s also one of the crotchetiest, most cantankerous states in the Nation, with no less than 25% over the age of 65!

After scaring the bejeepers out of those clinging to their failing incomes or perscription drugs with a torrent of Muslim-baiting, race-baiting and liberal-baiting, Hill topped it off with a nice Osama/Obama melange.  It hit the spot for PA’s voters!

So, good news for Hill?

Not so fast!

Apparently the NYT took umbrage with her nasty natterings, and pulled the rug out from under her endorsement in a most rude way, pointing some serious fingers at her negative tactics, saying:

Voters are getting tired of it; it is demeaning the political process; and it does not work. It is past time for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to acknowledge that the negativity, for which she is mostly responsible, does nothing but harm to her, her opponent, her party and the 2008 election.

Along with the NYT, the Governor of Oklahoma celebrated Hillary’s victory by endorsing her opponent. And close look at the exit polls in PA shows that Obama did better among Seniors, the poor and whites then ever before in a swing state she’s taken a stand in!

What does this mean, fellow Americans?

Well, Hillary’s not dropping out, that’s for sure.  And she’s not winning.  So it can mean only one thing:

More fear to come!

I loved Clinton’s attempt to spin a commercial that featured pictures of Bin Laden as “not negative.”

Will fear mongering work in Guam? (Does anyone really campaign there?)
